Meet Our Founder, Lawrence Gillett
Seraphim Aviation is more than just a business; it’s a passion-driven venture that reflects Lawrence Gillett’s lifelong dedication to aviation. Originally from Sydney, Lawrence began his professional aviation career in 2004 as a Flight Instructor at Bankstown Airport. His journey through the aviation industry has been marked by perseverance, adaptability, and a continuous pursuit of growth.
Career Transition and Personal Goals
In January 2013, Lawrence realised a long-term career goal by joining an airline. However, the reality did not match the dream, leading him to reconsider his aspirations. After some soul-searching, Lawrence resigned from the airline in December 2013 to pursue more personally meaningful goals. Later that year, he proudly graduated from UNSW with his MScTech (Aviation).
The Birth of Seraphim Aviation
In 2017, Lawrence made the exciting decision to work independently as a Flight Examiner, leading to the establishment of Seraphim Aviation in 2022. Seraphim Aviation is built on the foundation of Lawrence’s extensive experience, passion for aviation, and unwavering commitment to his clients.
